Profile:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) was established on April 1, 1937 by the Government of India under Act, 1935. The first non official chairman of the commission was Shri Kameshwar Das. The major objective of the commission is to conduct examination for filling up the government posts in Assam.

Selection of the candidates for the posts will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the written examination.
