SJVN Limited was established as a result of the joint venture of Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The major objective behind the establishment of the corporation was to provide a corporation dedicated to ethical practices and to social responsibility. The corporation was awarded the “Gold Award” by Greentech Foundation in the year 2003-2004 for its outstanding achievement in “Safety Practices”. The corporation has also been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification for quality management systems at the Nathpa Jhakri power station.

Selection Process:
Both written examination and the personal interview session are the criteria set for making the final selection of the candidates for the specified posts.
