Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan (VPKAS), Almora, Uttarakhand, India, is a premier institute of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, engaged in hill agricultural research for North-Western Himalayan region of India. It is proposed to fill up the temporary and time bound position of Research Associate on contractual basis under the HTM MM-1 Project on Deployment of entomopathogens and light traps for the management of scarabaeids in Uttarakhand hills on the basis of walk-in-interview. 

Research Associate - 01 post
Age Limit : 40 years
Pay Scale : Rs. 17,000/- + HRA per month for M.Sc. Degree, Rs. 18,000/- + HRA per month for Ph.D. Holders
Qualification : M.Sc. /Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology. Working knowledge on entomopathogens will be preferred.
Place of Work : VPKAS Experimental Farm, Hawalbagh and Farmers Fields.
