• Junior Technician/ Operator: 60 (Sixty) nos. [No. of posts may vary as per the requirement of the plant at the time of selection]
   
  • Pay: Rs.4000/- in the scale of pay of Rs.4000-3%-5600 in S-1 grade. The Pay Scale is under revision. Other allowances are admissible as applicable to regular employees of the Company.
  • Age: 50 (Fifty) years as on 01.03.2010 (1st March, 2010). Relaxation to SC/ST and OBC candidates will be given as per the Presidential Directives.

Operator cum Technician Trainee, SAIL

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age as on 1/10/2009.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates should have Matruclation with Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Metallurgy/Electronics /Civil/Chemical etc.

No. of posts: 33 posts are available for the the position of Operator cum technician tarinee.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid the salary of Rs. 7500/- in the first year of their training and Rs. 8500/- in the second year of their training period.

Selection process:

Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
