The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) was established as a Government Coal Mining Company by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Government of India. The company is shared by Government of Andhra Pradesh and Government of India in the ratio of 51:49. The company is located near the Godavari Valley of Andhra Pradesh in an area of 350 km. There are 13 opencast and 42 underground mines are being operated by SCCL in the four districts of Andhra Pradesh. The company has a manpower of around 78000 people.
Job Profile:
Candidates can apply for the Non-Executive cadre posts of Junior Mining Engineers (Trainee) in the Singreni Collieries Company Limited depending on their educational qualification.
Eligibility:
Candidates should not be more than 24 years of age as on 1 January 2010.
Educational Qualification:
Diploma in minimg Engineering is required as the minimum educational qualification for applying for the posts of Junior Mining Engineers.
