BSNL will recruit Telecom Technical Assistants (TTAs) through Special Recruitment Drive (SRD) for SCs, STs and OBCs and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) through an open Competitive Examination in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 13600-25420 (revised). BSNL comprises of 27 Recruitment Circles out of which backlog vacancies exist in 16 circles.

These circles are in the process of filling up of backlog vacancies reserved for SCs, STs OBCs and PWD. Each recruitment circle will issue separate advertisement to fill the vacancies in their Circle.

BSNL JAOs Recruitment 2009 - Recruitment of Junior Accounts Officers Online Application

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) invites application for Junior Accounts Officers (JAOs), BSNL will recruit 1000 JAOs through an open competitive examination to be held on All India basis. The examination is likely to be held in February/March 2010 and the exact date of the examination will be announced later on.

POST NAME: Junior Accounts Officers (JAOs)

VACANCIES: 1000 (OC-453, oBC-253, SC-195, ST-99)

PAY SCALE:

Rs. 16400-40500 with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay. In addition, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, LTC etc. will be admissible as per company rules.

AGE LIMIT: Minimum 20 years and not more than 30 years

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Applicants must possess any one of the following qualifications as on 31.12.2009:
1. A qualified Chartered Accountant (or)
2. A qualified Company Secretary (or)
3. A qualified Cost & Works Accountant (or)
4. M.Com (Master of Commerce).

MODE OF SELECTION:

The examination will consist of two papers, That is
1. General English & General Aptitude/Awareness
2. Financial Management/Cost Accounting/Tax & Commercial Laws

An examination fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) is payable in the form of demand draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of Accounts Officer(Cash), O/o CGM, NTR, New Delhi payable at New Delhi.
