Station Controller/Train Operator, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited

Profile:

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited was founded on December 24, 2002 as a rapid transit system in the city ofDelhi. It is the second underground rapid transit system after Kolkata in the country. The headquarter of the coporation is situated at Metro Bhawan, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi.

Job profile:

Candidates can apply for the non-exceutive posts of Station Controller/Train Operator depending on their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years of age.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates are required to have three years diploma in engineering in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical stream from a govt. recognized university with atleast 50% marks in aggregate.

No. of posts: There are 184 posts available for the the position of Station Controller (Gen-78, SC-23, ST-49, OBC-34 and Ex Serviceman-27).

Pay Scale: Candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 13500-25520/-

Selection process:

Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
