Oriental Bank of Commerce, OBC, Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the following posts of Specialist Officers and other posts :

I. Assistant General Manager (SMGS-V) :

• No of Post : 07 posts (Forex-1, Economist-1, IT-1, Risk Management-1, Corporate Credit-2),
• Scale of Pay : Rs. 24140 to 26620/- per month,
• Age Limit : Not to exceed 45 years as on 17.04.2010.
• Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate / Post Graduate with Foreign Exchange / International Trade / International Business / International Banking. Experience of not less than 8 years in related field in a public sector.

II. Chief Manager (SMGS-IV) :

• No of Post : 09 posts (Forex-3, Economics-1, SSI-3, Credit-1, Domestic and Forex Treasury-2), Scale of Pay : Rs. 20480- to 24140/- per month,
• Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years as on 17.04.2010.
• Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate / Post Graduate with Foreign Exchange /International Trade / International Business / International Banking. Minimum 6 years post qualification experience in the related field in a Bank.

III. Deputy Chief Manager (MMGS-III) :

• No of Post : 29 posts (FA-19, Forex-5, Architect/ Civil Engineer-2, Technical-1, Equity and Debt-2),
• Scale of Pay : Rs. 18240 to 22280/- per month,
• Age Limit : Not to exceed 35 years as on 17.04.2010.
• Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate of any recognized University with pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India. Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in the related field in a Bank.

IV. Manager (MMGS-II) :

• No of Post : 75 posts (FA-20, Forex-7, SSI-2, Law-14, Security-12, Public Relations and Publicity-1, Company Secretary-1, Technical-3, IT-15),
• Scale of Pay : Rs. 13820 to 19920/- per month,
• Age Limit : Not to exceed 35 years as on 17.04.2010.
• Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate of any recognised university with pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India or the Institute of Costs & Works Accountants of India. Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in the related fields in a Bank/Financial Institution.

V. Financial Analyst (JMGS-I) :

• No of Post : 14 posts,
• Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000 to 18240/- per month,
• Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 17.04.2010.
• Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate of any recognised university with pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India or the Institute of Costs & Works Accountants of India. Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in the related fields in a Bank/Financial Institution.

VI. SSI (JMGS-I) :

• No of Post : 01 post,
• Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000 to 18240/- per month,
• Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 17.04.2010.
• Essential Qualification & Experience : A degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electro nics/Textile/Chemical/Metallur gical branch of engineering from a University/Institute recognised by Government of India. 3 years post qualification experience in the field of promotion of Small Scale Industry in Government.

VII. HRD Officer (JMGS-I) :

• No of Post : 12 posts,
• Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000 to 18240/- per month,
• Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 17.04.2010.
• Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations / Labour Law / Labour Welfare from a recognised university/institution. Post qualification experience in Personnel Administration/Industrial Relations in a public sector organisation.

VIII. Hindi Officer (JMGS-I) :

• No of Post : 05 posts,
• Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000 to 18240/- per month,
• Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 17.04.2010.
• Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate Degree in Hindi Post qualification experience of Translation from Hindi to English and Vis-à-vis. is desirable.

IX. Officer (Information Technology) (JMGS-I) :

• No of Post : 19 posts,
• Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000 to 18240/- per month,
• Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 17.04.2010.
• Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E./B.Tech./Bsc. in Computer Science / I.T. / Electronics/Electronics & Communications or BCA/ MCA or Postgraduate in Computer Science /IT / Electronics/ Electronics & Communications or ‘B’ Level Certificate from Department of Electronics Government of India. Desirable but not essential.

Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bahcelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university is required with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.

3. Recruitment of Hindi Officer:
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 35 years as on 30 April 2010
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree froma recognized institute or university is required with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.

4. Recruitment of Security Assistant:
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 28 years as on 30 April 2010
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have worked as Junior Commissioned Officer in Army or any other paramilitary forces.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200
