Age Limit : 21 to 30 years as on 01/07/2010

Qualification : A First Class Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade. SC/ST/PWD(HI/VH/OH) candidates having Second Class with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in Bachelors Degree examination.

Application Fee : Rs.100/- for General and OBC Candidates. No fee is payable by SC/ST/PWD candidates. Fee is payable by Demand Draft favouring Reserve Bank of India and payable at Mumbai only.

• Research Officers in Grade B for Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM): 10 Posts
   
  • Age (as on 01-02-2010) : Between 21 and 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/02/1980 and not later than 01/02/1989).
  • Qualification:
  • A Master's Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade OR
  • Master's Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an institute of repute or
  • M.Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
     
  • Pay Scale: They will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.13700/- p.m. in the scale of Rs.13700-700-20000-EB-700-21400-750-24400 applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local allowance, House Allowance, Family allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately Rs.22755/-.

Media Relation Director, Media Manager, Reserve Bank of India

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) was established as the centralbank of India on April 1, 1935. The major function of the bank is keeping of reserves to secure monetary stability in the country. The other main function performed by the bank is operating the currency and credit system of the country to its advantage.

Job profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Media Relation Director and Media Manager depending of their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be between 32 to 40 years of age as on 1 December 2009 for applying for the post of Media Relation Director and 26 to 35 years of age as on 1 December 2009 for applying for the post of Media Manager.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates are required to have Post Graduation with first class preferably in Economics for applying for the posts of Media Relation Director while Post Graduation preferably in Economics or in English is required for the posts of Media Manager .
