Permanent Commissioned Officer, Indian Navy


Profile:
Indian Navy is the naval branch of the armed forces of the country. Navy Day is celebrated on 4th December. There are approximately 55000 persons working in theIndian Navy in different branches like Naval Aviation Branch, Sagar Prahari Bal etc. The main objective of Indian Navy is to protect national maritime borders.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited from the eligible and unmarried male candidates for the posts of Permanent Commissioned Officer in the 10+2 (Technical) cadet entry scheme course in Indian Navy.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be in between 16.5 to 19 years of age. Candidates must be born in between 2 July 1991 to 1 January 1994 (both dates are inclusive).
Educational Qualification:
Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from recognized board with atleast 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed salary.
Selection Process:
The method of recruitment for the selection of candidates consist of a written examination and a personal interview test. Candidates will have also have to undergo a physical test before the final selection for the posts.
