Orissa Power Transmission Corporation Limited ( OPTCL) started functioning on 1 April 2005 under the Government of Orissa. The corporation was established as a deemedtransmission license under section 14 of Electricity Act, 2003. The corporation is considered as one of the largest transmission utility in the country. The major objective behind the establishment of the corporation was to undertake the business of transmissionand wheeling of electricity in the State.

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of Junior Management Trainee (Electrical):

No. of posts: 10 posts only

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electronics engineering is required for the above post.

2. Recruitment of Junior Management Trainee (Telecommunication):

No. of posts: 13 posts only

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Telecommunication engineering is required for the above post.

3. Recruitment of Junior Management Trainee (Information Technology):

No. of posts: 1 post only

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electronics engineering is required for the above post.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200

Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 32 years of age as on 1 April 2010.
