Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) was established on October 30, 1972 under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India. The commission is located at the old Assembly House of Tripura in Agartala. Sr. G.P. Bagchi was the first chairman of the commission.
Job profile:
Candidates can apply for the posts of Headmaster (Group B Gazetted under Education (School) Department).
Eligibility:
Candidates should be bewteen 18 to 40 years of age as on 31 January 2010. Candidates should have atleast 7 years experience in regular teaching in any government high/higher secondary schools.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have Master Degree in any subject with atleast 45% marks from any recognized university or B.Ed. from any recognized university.
No. of posts: Total 37 posts are available for the the position of Headmaster.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 9570-30000/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 3500/-.
Selection process:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
