High Court of Chhatisgarh was established on November 1, 2000 under the Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act. This is the 10th high court of the country with the strength of 18 judges.The first chief justice of the High Court of Chhatisgarh was Mr. R. S. Garg.
Job profile:
Candidates can apply for the posts of Stenographers and Assistant Grade-III depending on their educational qualification.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be in between 21 to 30 years of age as on 1 January 2010.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to be graduate from any recognized university for applying for the post of Stenographers while one year diploma course in computer from I.T.I or equivalent is the minimum educational qualification required for the post of Assistant Grade-III.
No. of posts: There are 18 posts available for Stenographers position while 45 posts are available for the position of Assistant Grade-III.
Pay scale:
Stenographers: Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 4300
Assistant Grade-III: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900
Selection process:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
