Profile:

Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research was established in the year 1971. It is the second largest establishment of the Department of Atmoic Energy. The major function performed by IGCAR is conducting multidisciplinary programmer of scientific research in the country.

Job profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Stenographers Grade III in the departmentof Atomic Energy in Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years of age as on 1 July 2009. Age relaxation as per rules. Knowledge of computer application is also desirable for the post.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates are required to have atleast matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate to apply for the posts of Stenographers.

No. of posts: Only 7 posts are available for the the position of Stenographers.

Pay Scale: Candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Selection process:

Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
