Profile:
Indian Navy is the naval branch of the armed forces of the country. Navy Day is celebrated on 4th December. There are approximately 55000 persons working in theIndian Navy in different branches like Naval Aviation Branch, Sagar Prahari Bal etc. The main objective of Indian Navy is to protect national maritime borders.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be born in between 1 August 1988 and 31 July 1992.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have 3 years diploma with minimum 50% marks in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics etc from a Government recognized institute or polytechnic.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid the salary of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 + MSP of Rs. 2000 + allowances.
Selection process:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts. Candidates will also have to undergo Physical fitness test.
