Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) was established on November 1, 1956. The main objective of establishing the commission was to eliminate things like favouritism, personal likes etc while recruiting persons on government jobs in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Job profile:
Candidates can apply for the preliminary examination for various posts in State Administrative Service Examination-2009 (PCS).
Eligibility:
Candidates should be atleast 21 years of age but not more than 30 years of age as on 1 January 2010. Relaxation in age as per rules.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have graduate degree from a recognized university.
No. of posts: 352 posts in total are available in State Administrative Service Examination-2009 (PCS).
Pay scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed salalry depending on their post.
Selection process
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selections.

Candidates should apply online at MPPSC website. An application fee of Rs. 180/- (Rs. i0 for SC/ST/OBC/PH) + Rs. 35 as portal fee will be accepted only through credit card, internet banking or by cash in person.
