West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL) was established by the Government of West Bengal. The company is located in the state of West Bengal. There are four main thermal plants under WBPDCL and the fifth one named Sagardighi is also in progress.
Job Profile:
1. Recruitment of Managers:
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Social Work from any government recognized university or equivalent.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 40 years of age as on 1/1/2009.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/-
2. Recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees:
Educational Qualification: BE or BTech in Electrical/Mechanical/Powerplant.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 26 years of age as on 1/1/2009.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-39,100/- with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/
3. Recruitment of Safety Officer:
Educational Qualification: Graudtae in Engineering from from any government recognized university or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-39,100/- with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will have to undergo a written test followed by a Personal interview, Group Discussion and Pre Employment Medical Test.
