Profile:
Ministry of Labour & Employment Labour Bureau was established on October 1, 1946. The major objective of the Labour Bureau is to collect the related information on wages, earnings, productivity and industrial relations. Labour Intelligence, Labour Research and Monitoring and evaluationstudies under the minimum wages act 1948 are the three main facts with the help of which the function sof Labour Bureau are classified.
Job profile:
Candidates can apply for the posts of Investigator in the Ministry of Labour & Employment Labour Bureau on contract basis in the states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Chandigarh and Punjab. The main work to be performed by the selected candidates will be the collection of data in large sclae smaple surveys.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be atleast 21 years of age. Retired Government persons having experience in the relevant field and age below 65 years can also apply for the posts.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have a degree with Economics and Mathematics as one of the subjects.
No. of posts: 42 posts in total are available for Investigator designations.
Pay scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 9000-10000.
Selection process:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
