Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) was founded in 1916 and later brought under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) during 1970. The initial authorization of the institutewas on crop husbandry of coconut, arecanut, cocoa, oilpalm, cashew and spices. But at recent it is no more concentrated only on this ares but many others. At present the Institute has a countrywide research network of four regional stations, four research centres  and 20 Centers under AICRP on palms

Job Profile: The post is for Asst. Finance & Accounts Officer
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 - 34800
Age Limit: 21-30 years (The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC as per the Government of India rules). The upper age is also relaxable upto 45 years in the case of serving regular employees of ICAR in the administrative (ministerial) category.

Qualification:
The candidate must be a  Post-Graduate in any one of the following disciplines with first division (60% in aggregate) from a renowned University: Commerce/Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics/ Computer science/Operational Research/ Finance/Financial Management/Accountancy. Desirable  Experience of Finance & accounts work in Central or State Government Deptt./ Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertaking.  MBA Degree and knowledge of Computerized Accounting
