Madras Public Service Commission was renamed toTamil Nadu Public ServiceCommission (TNPSC) in the year 1970 when the name of the state was changed intoTamil Nadu. The commissioncomes under the act of Madras Legislature. The major function of the commission is to make recruitment on the government post in Tamil Nadu.
Job profile:
Candidates will have on the post of Assistant Commissioner in the Tamil NaduHindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Administration Department.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be between 18 to 32 years of age. Relaxation in age as per government rules.
No. of posts: 25 posts in total are available for the posotion of Assistant Commissioner.
Pay scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-.
Selection process:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts. The date of written examination is 30 May 2010.
