DIRECT RECRUITMENT
Applications are invited in the prescribed Form from the bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for the below mentioned posts under the Government of Tripura:-
Item No – 01 = 9 (nine) pmt. posts (UR=02, SC=02 & ST=05) of Tripura Judicial Service Grade-III, Group-B Gazetted under Law Department in the Scale of Rs.9,000-14,550/- (pre-revised) plus admissible allowances. As per Rule-8 of the TJS Rules, 2003 posts reserved for ST and SC candidates will be filled by UR candidates if suitable reserved category candidate are not found.

Vacancy Details:

1. Judicial Service Grade-III, Group-B Gazetted

  • Number of vacancies : 09
  • Scale of Pay : Rs.9,000-14,550/- (pre-revised)
  • Age : Up to 38 years for ST/SC candidates and 35 years for others as on 16.08.2010.
  • Eligibility : (i) Citizen of India, (ii) Degree in Law of a recognized university.

2. Librarian (UR),Group-C Non-Gazetted

  • Number of vacancies : 01
  • Scale of Pay : Rs. 5310-24,000/- (PB-2, Grade Pay Rs.2100/-
  • Age : 18 to 37 years as on 14.08.2010 (Relaxable as per rules)
  • Eligibility : (i) Graduate from a recognized University.(ii) Degree or Diploma in Library Science. Desirable : (i) Knowledge in Bengali and Kokborok. (iii) Experience in Library works related to Law
Last Date for receipt of online application : 16.08.2010 by 5.00 PM
DISQUALIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT:- No person shall be eligible for appointment to the service- (i) If he/she is dismissed from service by any High Court, Government or Statutory or local Authority. (ii) If he/she has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitute or who is or has been permanently debarred or disqualified by the High Court or the UPSC or any State Public Service Commission from appearing in any Examination or selection conducted by it. (iii) If he/she directly or indirectly tries to influence or influences the recruiting authority by any means for his/her candidature. (iv) If he/she has more than one spouse living.
Eligible candidates are require to sit in the Written Examination with the following syllabus:
The application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates as noted in the application form is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM (16.08.2010) of the closing date & to obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number.
The candidates who are to sent the application by post, also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No.,Item No.and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by the Commission by returning this card to the candidates after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidates. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.
  • The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be the final.
  • Date, time and venue of Screening Test / Interview of the eligible qualified candidates will be notified in due course.
