Applications are invited for the follwoing posts at University Grants Commission, New Delhi:
Junior Accounts Officer-Posts-4
- Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Rs.4200(Grade pay)
- Age: Max 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
- Eligibility: Officers under Central Govt.(a) In the scale of pay of PB-2 Rs.9300-34800/- + 4200/- (Grade Pay) or equivalent
- Qualification: Graduate with JAO (Civil) Exam. qualified from any organized accounts cadre of Govt. of India.
Accounts Officer-Posts-6
- Pay Scale: PB- 2 Rs.9300-34800 + 4600/- (Grade Pay)
- Age: Max 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
- Eligibility: Officers under Central Government(a) With 3 years regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.9300- 34800/- +4600/- (Grade Pay) or Equivalent
- Qualification: Graduate and JAO(Civil) Exam qualified from any organized accounts/audit cadre of Govt. of India.

Applications in duplicate in the given proforma along with the complete and attested copies of last three years ACRs of eligible persons who could be spared in the event of their selection, may be sent to the Under Secretary (Admn.I/A&B), UGC, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi- 110002. While sending the application, it may be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by the officer are correct and that no disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against the officer.It should be rech to mention address within one month of publication of advertisement.
Notes:
Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years. The maximum age for appointment shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently. The persons selected will have the option to draw his grade pay plus deputation (duty) allowance in accordance with the DOPT OM No.2/29/91-Estt.(P.II) dated 5.1.1994 or to have his/her pay fixed in the scale of pay of the post subject to relevant rules on the subject. According to the said order, deputation (duty) allowance shall be paid to the officer @5% of basic pay and GP thereon subject to the ceiling of Rs.500/- p.m. for transfer within the same station and at the rate of 10% of basic pay and GP thereon subject to a ceiling of Rs.1000/- p.m. in other cases. If the incumbent is in higher scale in parent cadre or gets performa promotion in higher scale during the period of deputation with UGC, his/ her pay in higher scale will be protected as personal to him/ her.
