Bank Of Baroda (BoB) was founded in the year 1908 by the Government of India. It stands third in the posistion for being the largest public sector bank of the country.State Bank of India and Punjab national bank are on the first and second positions respectively. The headquarter of the bank is in Mumbai. M D Mallya is the chairman of the bank.

Job profile:

Candidates will have to join Bank of Baroda in the clerical cadre in Andaman and Nicobar island. Young candidates will be given preference over others.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years of age as on 1 December 2009.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates are required to have passed 10+2 or Intermediate or HSC with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. Relaxation in marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates.

No. of posts: Only 2 posts in total are available for Clerical Cadre.

Pay scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 4410-13210/-.

Selection process:

Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts. The date of written examination is 7 February 2010.
