Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites Applications for Indian Forest Service (IFS)Examination 2010 recruitment. The Notice of Indian Forest Service Exam-2010 The last date for receipt of off-line application printed on the top of first page of the Notice published in the Employment News dated 20-26 February, 2010 be read as 22.03.2010 in place 23.03.2009.
Age Limit: 21 years to 30 years as on 1st July, 2010. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
Education Qualification: UG Degree of any recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botonoy, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Number of Attempts:1. General Category - 4 attempts
2. OBC - 7 attempts
3. SC/ST - No limit
How To Apply: The Application fee is Rs.100/- (No Fee for SC/ST/PH Candidates) through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. All Applications send to "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by courier on or before the 22nd March, 2010.
